Yes. The Immigration and Foreigners Act 2025 and its Rules replaced the older Foreigners Act framework, and the form an accommodation provider files for a foreign guest is now Form III — described in official circulars as "Form III [erstwhile Form-'C']".
Nothing about the filing itself changed for you. It is the same portal at indianfrro.gov.in, the same fields, and the same 24-hour deadline. Most of the industry, and the portal's own labelling, still say Form C — so we do too.
Every accommodation provider, not just hotels. Rule 17 names hotels, resorts, homestays, guest houses, paying-guest accommodation, rented accommodation and short-let listings alike. If a foreign national sleeps under your roof for money, you file.
It also covers OCI cardholders, which surprises a lot of properties. Our guest form handles them — OCI is a selectable category with its own document fields, so a guest with an OCI card and no visa can still complete it.
24 hours from the guest's arrival at your property. Not from their arrival in India — those two dates are routinely months apart, and it is the check-in that starts your clock.
Our Chrome extension shows a live countdown against that deadline for every pending check-in, so the one closest to running out is the one at the top of your list.
At least 12 months, in electronic form, available for inspection. That obligation is yours as the accommodation provider — we are the tool you file with, not the record-keeper of last resort.
So we never delete a paid check-in on a schedule. It stays in your dashboard until someone on your team deletes it, and if you do delete in bulk we tell you first how many of those records are less than 12 months old. You can also download an export bundle — a ZIP of the Form C details with the passport, visa and photo files — to keep on your own computer.
One exception worth knowing: check-ins taken while your balance is empty stay locked and are deleted after 90 days. We warn you by email before that happens. See the Privacy Policy for why we do not hold them indefinitely.
No, and no product is — FRRO does not endorse third-party software. C Form Plus is a tool your own staff use. Your guests fill in their details, and the Chrome extension types them into the government portal using your FRRO login, in your browser.
We never file on your behalf and never hold your FRRO credentials. The filing is yours, and so is the legal responsibility for it.
Guest documents are never served as plain files. Every passport scan, visa and photo is delivered through an authenticated request that checks the signed-in person can reach that property, and the upload folders are blocked from the web entirely. Filenames are random tokens, so nothing can be guessed.
Traffic is served over HTTPS. Staff logins are per-person, so access ends the moment you remove someone, and you choose per person who can export data or delete check-ins. Our Privacy Policy sets out what we collect and how it is handled.
The portal does change from time to time. When it does, we update our end so the extension keeps filling correctly — usually with nothing for you to do.

If your balance runs out, your guests are never blocked — their check-in is still accepted, it just stays locked until you top up.
