C Form Plus

How to fit C Form Plus into your check-in workflow

Last updated: August 25, 2026

The whole idea is one move: the typing happens before the guest arrives, and not by you. Your guest fills in their own passport and visa details on their own phone, from a link you give them when they book. By the time they walk in, the check-in is sitting in your dashboard with a countdown against its 24-hour deadline, and filing it to the FRRO portal is a one-click autofill from our Chrome extension — you review and submit, inside your own portal login. What changes below is only how the link reaches the guest and who does the filing: a landlord with no front desk and a hotel with one run the same machine differently.

One-time setup (everyone, about ten minutes)

What the guest sees at their end: a form on their own phone, in their own language (several are built in), where photographing their passport fills in most of the fields for them, their photo is compressed to the portal's size limit automatically, and a half-finished form survives being put down. It takes a couple of minutes, not a questionnaire's worth of an evening.

For landlords and individual houses

No front desk changes the shape of the problem: you may not be at the property when the guest arrives, and the guest may never hand you a passport at all. The workflow is built for exactly that.

If you host in your own home and meet every guest, the same flow simply compresses: the link goes out when they book, and the filing is something you do from your own computer with their details already in front of you — instead of asking a guest at your dining table to hand over their passport while you type.

For hotels and guesthouses

With a desk, the goal is different: the queue. A coach of foreign guests arriving together is 15–25 minutes of portal typing each if the desk does it by hand.

Edge cases: the situations that actually come up

What stays yours

C Form Plus moves the typing, not the responsibility. The FRRO credentials are yours; every filing is reviewed and submitted by a person at your property, never auto-submitted; and the legal duty to register foreign guests remains yours as the accommodation provider — the tool exists to make discharging it take seconds instead of half an hour. Pricing is per check-in, with no subscription: a season with no foreign guests costs nothing.

This page is general information, not legal advice. Who must be registered is set by the Act and Rules, not by software: Indian citizens are exempt, OCI and PIO cardholders are not. If you are unsure how the obligation applies to your property, see the FAQ or take proper advice.
